About the Vacancy:

Web-Translations is looking to recruit a Personnel, Partner & Agent Manager to help recruit, manage, and train our team.

The successful candidate will recruit and manage a team of freelance sales agents,  recruit and manage partner companies to our affiliate scheme, and recruit new team members to the office.

A large part of the role involves training, motivating sales people and holding people to account for their performance.

Main Duties:

  • Recruitment of driven, successful sales agents
  • Engaging with partner organisations to expand our affiliate network
  • Managing staff performance against KPIs
  • Training and Coaching
  • Working hard to achieve rewarding targets
  • Supporting Sales staff in preparing quotations, managing pipeline and achieving targets

The successful applicant will:

  • Have at least 5 years experience working in sales management (preferably in the recruitment or translation industry)
  • Have a proven record of being able to drive team performance
  • Possess excellent communication skills
  • Be able to demonstrate initiative
  • Be familiar with the translation industry and web technologies
  • Be enthusiastic about the translation & web industry
  • Have a focused attitude and a drive for personal achievement
  • Be willing to learn quickly
  • Have a passion for learning & personal development

Remuneration:

The Personnel, Partner & Agent Manager role carries tremendous responsibility and consequently is well rewarded. The starting basic will be £26k - £30k, with an OTE of £50k increasing to £70k once you have proven your sales training & motivation ability.

We have a generous commission structure which rewards effort as well as attainment:

Being a small company you will report directly to the Managing Director. A career progression plan will be provided from the start, which will clearly set out the goals and targets to progress your career towards promotion as the HR Director, achievable within 3 to 5 years for the right person.

Your career will progress through 3 stages:

  1. Prove yourself as a capable manager of remote sales agents: Develop strong relationships with the sales agents, get them all performing to targets.
  2. Prove yourself as a competent manager: You will be expected to command the respect and discipline of a high performing team (2 to 3.5 years)
  3. Promotion to HR Director on achieving predefined targets

Underperformance will delay your career progression.
