Web-Translations are pleased to announce the launch of their multilingual audio navigation and multilingual greetings within the Web-Translations website.
Web-Translations know that making a difference to a customer’s experience when they are browsing a website is key to making a good impression and encouraging customers to engage with your business, service or product. As websites become more and more common a defining feature is needed to grab customer’s attention and have them returning time and time again.
Web-Translations decided that in order to continue our award winning recognition for innovation, audio was the way to do so. We wanted something which would grab our customer’s attention and really speak to our customers in their own language. As new multilingual versions of the Web-translations’ website are launched new audios will be added, as well as the service being available to our own clients.
The audio navigation is currently available in English and Japanese and is designed to offer visitors to our website a more individual browsing experience.
Web-Translations worked with Bristol based Red Ferry to develop the online experience for our customers. Red Ferry works with digital media producers, web developers and site owners to enrich the user experience through information architecture development, navigation and communications solutions and the incorporation of rich media including streaming audio.
Satomi Swaine, Web-Translations Japanese Project Manager was responsible for the coordination of translator resources and voice over actors for the Japanese audio. Commenting on the project she said, “This project has been a challenge to manage but has delivered successfully. Delivering an audio project in Japanese brings into the play a number of different considerations which we do not meet when recording English audio. The cultural differences really matter here but thanks to our knowledge of both cultures we have successfully completed this project and hope our customers will enjoy the new experience”.
