Zacuto, who carry the latest technology in high definition cameras designed by staff that have over 45 years of combined film and video experience, are testing seventeen international markets thanks to translation and localisation services from Web-Translations.

Steve Weiss, Zacuto’s MD, decided that with so many enquiries from foreign customers as to Zacuto’s position regarding worldwide deliveries and sales, the time was right to have some multilingual pages, and Web-Translations’ International Blast! service was the perfect answer.

Multilingual websites offers an excellent way to test new markets and open the door to global business.  Having had just a few pages translated, Zacuto can now measure interest in their products, enabling them to decide which international markets offer the best potential for growth, without any huge, up-front financial commitment.

International Blast! involved the translation and localisation of a page detailing product, contact and company details into seventeen languages; Bengali, French, Hindi, Arabic, Swedish, Japanese, Danish, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, German, Korean, Russian, Greek, Urdu, and Chinese.  Whilst welcoming international customers and giving them an overview of their company, Zacuto have now also made their business appear international.

Kristan Caryl, the Project Coordinator, said;

‘Within a day or two the content was localised and approved.  Within a week all seventeen pages were back to us, translated and proofread, and the pages went live not long after that.  Having optimized the sites for the in-country search engines, it’s now just a case of sitting back and waiting for the first international orders to arrive!’
