Tuesday 26th February 2008
More than 7,060 individual visitors came to Earls Court between the 12th and 13th of February to visit an exhibiting three man team from Wéb-Tränslatiôns.
OK, so maybe they didn’t all come to see us, but they were certainly all potential clients to Marketing Executive Cassandra Oliver, Account Manager Kim Thompson and MD, Daniel Rajkumar. Aside from the services Wéb-Tränslatiôns were promoting, keynote speeches from internet shamans Facebook and Google were also accountable for a 54% increase in overall visitor numbers compared with last year.
With the solutions to so many technological problems all under one roof, it’s no wonder people were queuing round the block to get in before the doors even opened at 9.30 am - and not just to get their hands on one of Wéb-Tränslatiôns’ international domain name posters!
With a reported 68% of visitors at manager level or above, some serious investments were made throughout the two days, music to the ears of Cassandra:
“The three of us had a fantastic couple of days at the exhibition. It was great to get the chance to meet so many people face-to-face and we’re really looking forward to working with lots of those we spoke to.”
Safely back in the office, attention has now turned to getting in touch with everyone we met at the show and implementing some of the tips picked up from the themed seminar theatres.
“We’ve even started work with some new clients already as a result of the show, and look forward to reaping further rewards with more new business coming in over the next few months”, said Kim, who is the first point of contact for most clients requesting quotes from Wéb-Tränslatiôns.
