Burner Flame Technology Case Study

BFT is a gas combustion engineering company, with particular expertise in the fields of combustion engineering and energy efficiency. They provide high intensity gas burners and associated equipment to the metal joining, glass, plastics, food and engineering sectors.

BFT has a simple seven page website. Although they wanted to maintain the simple structure of the website, they recognised the need to compete on an international level, as increasing competition from Asian markets meant that as a manufacturing company in a specialised sector, they needed to find ways of reaching new markets.

Web-Translations worked with BFT to translate and localise their website for the French and Chinese markets and also provided online promotion to help BFT increase website traffic and make better use of their online presence to advertise their products.

The localised pages were published on June 10th and Web-Translations began the basic online promotion (search engine and directory submission). The result can be seen from the increase in web site traffic in the last week of June. The trend continues to grow after this step.

The light blue indicates individual visits and the dark blue page views, each visitor looks at 2.5 pages. For a simple seven page web site this is good exposure.
